Would this have looked better if the pants were a color? I don't know if it's just the light in this photo, but as it stands, the top and the shoes look like a different tone than the trousers. (The shoes also kind of look like she's wearing gigantic white band-aids on her arches, and her shirt is trying to comminucate in Braille.)

Speaking of shoes, I kept thinking she was in the process of kicking off her loafers, but no -- they're heeled mules. This outfit seems a tiny bit tortured to me, from the extra shorts flaps to the hook-and-eye closure to the cape. It's not great on her. But her lipstick game is almost always flawless, and this is no exception. She will lean the hell in on a deep red.

This looks a bit like something she bought at Old Navy and it immediately shrank. Also... okay, so between this and the skin on her heels three slides ago, are my eyes tricking me, or did she accidentally leave some half-socks on during her spray tan? Or did she just take a VERY long hike in extremely specific shoes, with no sunscreen? It reminds me of when my freshman year college roommate wore a leprechaun face tattoo to ND's first home football game and got a sunburn, so when she washed it off, she had his silhouette on her cheek for a while. Hey, maybe it's a real tan, and she just sat for too long with her toes in the sand. That would not be such a bad problem to have.
