Sarah Snook in custom Erdem

I would not have pegged this as Erdem. It's so... monochrome and dark. I guess the Erdem I'm picturing was its bananas florals from years ago. I'm glad she used a designer based in England; that's a nice touch. She was in The Picture of Dorian Gray and by all accounts was pretty magnetic. I assume Broadway can't be far behind.

Hannah Waddingham

Hannah hosted. This is good, but forgettable. She had set a high bar for herself, though.

Sophie Okonedo in Bottega Veneta

Sophie was nominated against Snook for being in Euripedes's Medea. She looks awesome in this -- it's VERY bold, in the best ways.

Nicole Scherzinger

Nicole won for being Norma Desmond in Sunset Boulevard. Truly, Andrew Lloyd Webber is one of her patron saints (he committed HARD to her as Christine in Phantom, also.) She looks glam but I find myself wishing this were a color. Any color.

Cara Delevingne in Gucci

It's good on her, but did it HAVE to look like its measurements were based around an apron?

Sheridan starred as Shirley Valentine -- she also lost to Snook -- and yet this production only ran from Feb to June 2023? I can't pretend to understand everyone's eligibility dates but it seems crackers. As is her outfit. I suspect this says, "I am not beating Shiv Roy! Might as well go ham!"

Ruth Jones

Ruth starred in Gavin & Stacey lo those many years ago. She's a novelist now! And she looks glam.

David has tremendous taste in jackets, as demonstrated at the BAFTAs and again here. (He was nominated for being in The Scottish Play. He lost to Mark Gatiss, who played Sir John Gielgud in The Motive and the Cue.)
