I guarantee you this photo is on Sophie Hosking's Facebook page RIGHT NOW. Kate is getting a lot of good wear out of that blazer; Harry is getting a lot of good wear out of that face.

Those wedges are also doing yeoman's work for Kate. Does Harry look like he's lost a little weight recently? I believe this is what we call The Olympics Effect. That's what happens when those of us who have been watching A LOT of Olympics think, "...yeah, I'm going to hit the gym a little harder. LOOK AT THOSE ABS."

"Now why don't you tell me about YOUR ponytails?!"

Props to the Duchess for wearing a dress to the Field Hockey bronze medal match that looks slightly like a field hockey uni. There is no way that's a coincidence. It's helpful for her that she looks very cute in a quasi-field hockey uni. As an aside: I am really sad we didn't have field hockey at my schools, because I was always more committed to sports where I enjoyed the ensemble. (This is obviously one of the reasons I enjoy tennis. Although I am perhaps the worst tennis player in the world -- no joke -- I at least look good when I am desperately flailing on the court.)

I love that she is nervous enough about the outcome of this match to hide behind her hair. We have all been there, dude.

Kate's chatting up the Prime Minister David Cameron and his wife Samantha at the Closing Ceremony, and helpfully also gives us a good look at her totally cute dress, which I think is Whistles and the reason I think that is because I feel like I thought about buying it from ASOS. But I may also have hallucinated that. Maybe I SHOULD buy it from ASOS though.

I love that we got a shot of Princess Anne letting Kate kiss her. I suspect Anne, as a member of the IOC, is pretty proud of how much work Kate and Harry and Wills did -- attending LOADS of events, visiting countless volunteers, visiting athletes -- to help make this an awesome Olympics for everyone.

It seems telling that the Queen sent Harry to sit in for her at this event. That's a very public vote of confidence in him.

"We did okay, right? Let's do this again some time."
