A few days before this, Liz and Dick were landing at Heathrow ([in a truly iconic and INSANE outfit](https://www.gofugyourself.com/omg-you-need-to-see-what-liz-taylor-wore-on-a-plane-in-1971-07-2020?ref=go-fug-yourself.ghost.io)); apparently, they next popped over to Monaco -- as one does -- to attend Grace Kelly's Red Cross Ball, where they look similarly dramatic, much more bejewelled, and somewhat less leggy.

Or maybe not:

Elizabeth! Your shiny hose are getting a WORKOUT on this trip! (If you want to see this in color, [you can see it on this Grace Kelly Tumblr account](https://gracepatri.tumblr.com/post/66872638721?ref=go-fug-yourself.ghost.io); I think Grace takes this one overall -- although no one can compete with Elizabeth's jewelry.)
