(Photo by Dia Dipasupil/Getty Images) This might have worked better with a skirt, or slimmer-cut pants, because the amount of fabric down there feels excessive. But THREE CHEERS for an unexpected shoe and a riotous ruffle, dramatic earrings, and... randomly only one glove? Why not. She looks like the queen of a really fun imaginary playland on a kids' TV show. ## Ava DuVernay in D&G ![](https://static.gofugyourself.com/uploads/2023/11/GettyImages-1823631230-1701408641.jpg) NEW YORK, NEW YORK - NOVEMBER 30: Ava DuVernay attends the "Origin" New York premiere at Alice Tully Hall on November 30, 2023 in New York City. (Photo by Dia Dipasupil/Getty Images) For something sequined, this is not as interesting to me. Is it the traditional D&G bodice design that we can see that's making me balk? I have never thought that worked. ## Myles Frost ![](https://static.gofugyourself.com/uploads/2023/11/GettyImages-1823610706-1701408667.jpg) NEW YORK, NEW YORK - NOVEMBER 30: Myles Frost attends the "Origin" New York premiere at Alice Tully Hall on November 30, 2023 in New York City. (Photo by Dia Dipasupil/Getty Images) I love that blazer. Myles and Aunjanue and Ava together this season? Yes, please. ## Sherri Shepherd ![](https://static.gofugyourself.com/uploads/2023/11/GettyImages-1823668300-1701408575.jpg) NEW YORK, NEW YORK - NOVEMBER 30: Sherri Shepherd attends the "Origin" New York premiere at Alice Tully Hall on November 30, 2023 in New York City. (Photo by Dia Dipasupil/Getty Images) Sherri was on the delightful "Trial and Error" a few years back, during which the law office characters repeatedly would chant, "MUR-DER-BOARD! MUR-DER-BOARD!" whenever they needed to add to it. I only mention this because I think she is now wearing an actual murder. ## DeWanda Wise ![](https://static.gofugyourself.com/uploads/2023/11/GettyImages-1823650020-1701408588.jpg) NEW YORK, NEW YORK - NOVEMBER 30: DeWanda Wise attends the "Origin" New York premiere at Alice Tully Hall on November 30, 2023 in New York City. THEY BOTH DID IT. ## Jon Bernthal ![](https://static.gofugyourself.com/uploads/2023/11/GettyImages-1823606550-1701408680.jpg) NEW YORK, NEW YORK - NOVEMBER 30: Jon Bernthalattends the "Origin" New York premiere at Alice Tully Hall on November 30, 2023 in New York City. (Photo by Dia Dipasupil/Getty Images) Delightful! ## Lorraine Toussaint ![](https://static.gofugyourself.com/uploads/2023/11/GettyImages-1823648430-1701408615.jpg) NEW YORK, NEW YORK - NOVEMBER 30: Lorraine Toussaint attends the "Origin" New York premiere at Alice Tully Hall on November 30, 2023 in New York City. (Photo by Dia Dipasupil/Getty Images) She looks like a refreshingly competent professional -- which she IS, obviously, in her own field, but she also looks like she could be wandering out of a law firm having just worked with Diane Lockhart to get a great settlement. ## Colman Domingo ![](https://static.gofugyourself.com/uploads/2023/11/GettyImages-1823643171-1701408628.jpg) NEW YORK, NEW YORK - NOVEMBER 30: Colman Domingo attends the "Origin" New York premiere at Alice Tully Hall on November 30, 2023 in New York City. (Photo by Dia Dipasupil/Getty Images) And he's... a henchman.
