## Rooney Mara in Giambattista Valli

Given our usual discussion about her often-cranky red carpet expressions, I could not resist this photo. (What many of you may not know about me is that I have what I call Resting Murderer Face; in neutral repose, I look like I am planning someone's demise. So I understand that her neutral expression may be sad. Her smile is lovely, though!)

I actually really like this dress very much. It's detailed, but also apropos for day-time. Well styled by the Mara team (although I might not have paired a black shoe with it).

## Alicia Vikander

ALSO successful. (Please note that it was VERY warm in Los Angeles on Monday, so this, and the next couple looks, were very apt in terms of temperature.)

## Rachel McAdams

This is cute, but is all of it too....small?

## Jennifer Jason Leigh

This is unimpeachable, basically. It's filed somewhere, literally, under Ladies Who Lunch.
