That dress is perfect for the Independent Spirits, which are held in Santa Monica; there was a time some celebs even arranged to arrive by bike. But something about the cut -- and partially her pose -- makes it look like she's hunching.

See? It's all a bit... pinched. It's a dreamy idea that I think backfired in execution, although I welcome the addition of sunglasses, obviously.

I almost typed "Ryan Atwood," which would have been surprising INDEED. I do love the idea of Ben McKenzie lovingly hand-beading these in Kirsten and Sandy Cohen's kitchen.

That's a great dress, with smartly chosen shoes, but it was already veering a bit daytime; the beige jacket, though, firmly grabbed the wheel and swerved into that lane. If it was that chilly, I almost think a little leather moto jacket would've added an aura or evening, along with a nifty edge and some practical warmth.
