Well, I'm glad Olivia changed in a sartorial way, though in an existential sense I hope she never does. However, I can't say I'm glad she changed into THIS? Those little trailing pieces look every bit as annoying as her other train -- possibly more, honestly, because they're lighter and thus floatier and far more likely for her to forget about and find herself in a terrible flambe accident. Also, it's just sort of crinkly and a bit stale, like a nightie. Her smile, though, is glorious.

After a really active Globes -- surprisingly so -- Lhuillier had a chill Oscars. This is so far the only one we've seen, right? It's... fine. I wish it were sleeveless, I think. Those sleeves OR that neck ruff, but not both, and I'm frankly not wild about either.

He and Olivia BOTH changed into something that will be more likely to show whatever you might spill on it. STRESS.

I would have guessed Brandon Maxwell for this. Nice work, Lela. This kind of thing could get her more calls from either Duchess -- it seems more Meghan's wheelhouse but I'd love to see this sleekness on Kate, too. Anyway, the point here though is Allison, where it is currently, and where it looks smashing.

This makes sense to me -- she ditched the feathers that would have gotten absolutely savaged at this party, but kept things festive.

Ehh. It's fine? It's better than her pink frock, which apparently did have hidden sheer components. I just... listen, I respect a person's desire to do whatever they want with their face, but Kacey is merely 30 and I feel like she has gone too hard too fast on some injectibles. I have long thought this, but this photo really seals it.

About my earlier comment with Lucy Boynton's Rodarte, where I said it felt like they figured out she liked Erdem and just designed in that spirit. Well, this IS Erdem, and the little armpit bows kind of affirm my Boynton theory. I find this to be very, very twee.

Tina's dress is fine. Maya's dress is very big. If I were either of them, I would not have changed out of what I already wore, ESPECIALLY Tina. She got basically the only good thing Vera Wang has done in eons. RUN WITH IT.

I am actually not sure this base dress is any different than the one she wore at the telecast, but she DID take off the large cape and then add a new accoutrement, so I am giving credit for resourcefulness.

She really should have stuck with her first outift. I... really do not care for this. Also, those are not her normal lips. What did she DO to them between the telecast and this party? Do lip plumping glosses really work that well, or did she run afoul of a bee?

Her other Chanel seemed perfectly reasonable to wear all night. WHY did she change into this heinous tulle bag? Switching from one annoyance to another is one thing, but from one seemingly easily wrangled outfit to a terrible fussy one is just bizarre.
