I LOVE THIS SUIT. Kutula is a shop that's been in LA for 50 years, now owned by sisters of Zambian and Nigerian heritage who took over from their parents. They outdid themselves with this -- it's fantastic.

I hope Jada can look back at these early photos, at least, and have a positive feeling, because none of what happened is her doing and she looked amazing.

This one was divisive, so we're actually putting it in both the best and worst slideshows, as a nod to those of you who thought we were way wrong. But we maintain that the two colors work well together, the floaty ruffle feels Tammy Faye-approved, and she came READY in a dress that would look great with her Oscar (which she held with a hand whose nails are gold). I thought she nailed it.

This dress is from a 2002 collection, and we love to see Kirsten dipping into the vintage trove -- and with a designer that is Edina Monsoon-approved. She looked wonderful, and I want her to get her Oscar soon.

We didn't see her at ALL, SOMEHOW, and I was so bummed out that we didn't know until after our coverage went up. Kelly made history as the first person to wear a Vietnamese Áo Dài on the Oscars red carpet. It was almost a year exactly after she wore one on the Raya and the Last Dragon red carpet, and Nguyen said on his Instagram that he's trying to manifest one at the Met Gala next. DO IT. She looks amazing and also Carlos (he directed Raya; I hope they're dating) is a dish.

People went nuts for the sky blue suit on Kodi, the touch of bling, and his funky shoes. He has interesting taste and he's very good at letting it shine even just in subtle ways.

This one might be controversial, but: Of the dresses that go Major Slit, I think this one is elegant and interesting, and a stellar color, and the tailoring is precise.

I had the thought that if Olivia and Maggie G had shown up in this, they might BOTH have ended up on this list, because Olivia might have been able to pull off the Schiaparelli and this dress would have been dreamy on Maggie. But it's perfect where it is. Score one BIG one for Olivia.
