As Heather pointed out to me yesterday, this is the dress of a woman who was pretty sure she was going to win. It's a dress that looks good on stage, it's a dress that looks good with a gold statue in your hand, it's a dress that photographs well from the hips up. It's the dress of a winner, and win she did. It is a dress you look back at 40 years and feel good about wearing for your big moment. I quite like it.

Amy looks cute! And I also thought she was pretty funny. However! I would have bet money that this was Gucci, given how often they did this exact trompe l'oeil bow situation a few years ago. This is the second time this month that OdlR has turned out something custom that is VERY similar to something another brand would have, or has done, and it's weird! Oscar is (to me) an almost unimpeachable legacy brand, this feels out of character.
