I know those are massive chest darts in this Prada gown, but I SWEAR, something about the way it's all built makes me think I can also see a lot of the sights from her honeymoon. I'd be so bummed out if my nipples had accepted my Oscar with me.

I'm so curious what the Valentino was that she rejected at the last minute, and why she changed. I think Anne's head looks fine, but the dress is SO boring and bland and... bridesmaid-y, and banal, and other b words, like... um, bstiff. Wearing an apron to accept your award feels like punting when you're at fourth and goal, even if it is a very expensive apron.

Wow, and how literal: the apron has actual strings.

My theory on this necklace is that she's wearing it backward: that she'd promised to wear it with her other dress, but this one's neckline fought having a droplet necklace so she improvised.

I joked to Jessica that maybe Hathaway would come out and sing in Armani homeless rags, and then... she actually kind of DID come out in Armani homeless rags.

She DOES seem like she'd be fun sometimes, though. And then she gives interviews and speeches. Everything she said to Seacrest felt like she copied it out of a book of daily affirmations, and her tiny "It came truuuuuuue" when she won was -- to quote Chrissy Teigen -- audio Ipecac. Oh well. At least, as irritating as she can be, she actually deserved the hell out of that Oscar.
