Someone on Twitter pointed out that this reminded her of the massive and glorious Versace dress SJP wore in Paris in the final season of Sex and the City. I can see both that, and the amazing Penelope Cruz Versace dress from 2007. This is Oscar de la Renta, and it is VERY princess-y.

The press release from the lovely people at OdlR said this was silver, but it almost looks blue to me. It also requires a wrangler.
