This is crazy, but looks AWESOME on her and I actually love it. The entire thing is styled well and it's an ideal match of girl and gown.
You may think I'm crazy for counting this as a pattern, rather than just "a color" but if you look really closely there is something there on the fabric. Anyway: I don't like this and am having trouble articulating why. I think it's because the fabric is TOO pale and shiny for me and the belt looks too much like cheap tape, and the purse and shoes don't seem all that connected to anything -- as if they were imported from another ensemble that fell through late.
I call this dress Vampire Bait.
Yes, it's loud, but she's selling it -- if only it didn't have the netting. I actually don't think it NEEDS the netting either.
This is not nearly as successful for me as Hailee's gown by the same designer. I don't HATE it, but it's almost weird that it's the from the same hand.
Sure, I'll take it. Sold.
It's not my favorite Naeem Khan, but I would LOVE a throw pillow in that flower pattern.
I'm counting this as a pattern, even though it's more... black stuff over a lining. You get what I mean. And it's... striking, at least? There's something a little scary about what the design is doing around her abdomen -- like an evil insect rising from a flower -- but it doesn't look bad on her.
Her head is a keeper. Send the rest back.
I like the idea of this more than I care for the silly execution.
I wrote this comment and the system ate it. THANKS SYSTEM. It was boring though: I just said that I debated long and hard whether this actually counts as a pattern, but I decided WHO CARES it's not science it's just GFY. So into the mix it goes, and I think she looks awesome.
