The boots seem wrong with it, and the ruffle looks like she tucked her napkin into her neckline. So *fine* is probably as far as I'm going to go. ## Greta Gerwig in Gucci ![](https://static.gofugyourself.com/uploads/2020/01/shutterstock_editorial_10540646bd-1580175946.jpg) Mandatory Credit: Photo by Rob Latour/Shutterstock (10540646bd) Greta Gerwig 92nd Academy Awards Nominees Luncheon, Los Angeles, USA - 27 Jan 2020 The necktie is killing me. It's both a feature AND a bug. It's part of what's supposed to be creating interest, and yet it also seems like a touch too much. I laughed at it, which isn't ideal. ## Florence Pugh in Monse ![](https://static.gofugyourself.com/uploads/2020/01/shutterstock_editorial_10540646bj-1580175964.jpg) Mandatory Credit: Photo by Rob Latour/Shutterstock (10540646bj) Florence Pugh 92nd Academy Awards Nominees Luncheon, Los Angeles, USA - 27 Jan 2020 One of the Monseters went to Notre Dame, and I REALLY wish I loved his work. This is just so underwhelming. It's part sling, it has only one forearm sheath, it's pulling her chest up and compressing it to different degrees, and it doesn't look fun to wear. That's a LOT of negatives. ## Sandy Powell ![](https://static.gofugyourself.com/uploads/2020/01/shutterstock_editorial_10540648y-1580176029.jpg) Mandatory Credit: Photo by Matt Baron/Shutterstock (10540648y) Sandy Powell 92nd Academy Awards Nominees Luncheon, Los Angeles, USA - 27 Jan 2020 Whereas THIS is both quirky and perfect. ## Cynthia Erivo in Louis Vuitton ![](https://static.gofugyourself.com/uploads/2020/01/shutterstock_editorial_10540648fw-1580176019.jpg) Mandatory Credit: Photo by Matt Baron/Shutterstock (10540648fw) Cynthia Erivo 92nd Academy Awards Nominees Luncheon, Los Angeles, USA - 27 Jan 2020 Is that a fake spider on her shoulder? Is this otherwise eminently reasonable and even potentially cute coat being ARACHNIFIED? WHY. ## Charlize in Dior ![](https://static.gofugyourself.com/uploads/2020/01/wenn37567688-1580176046.jpg) 92nd Academy Awards (Oscars) Nominees Luncheon held at the Ray Dolby Ballroom at the Hollywood & Highland in Los Angeles, California. Featuring: Charlize Theron Where: Los Angeles, California, United States When: 27 Jan 2020 Credit: Adriana M. Barraza/WENN I guess. Sure. (I'm landing on "that haircut is too severe for Charlize right now," also.) ## Renee in Tom Ford ![](https://static.gofugyourself.com/uploads/2020/01/wenn37567675-1580176037.jpg) 92nd Academy Awards (Oscars) Nominees Luncheon held at the Ray Dolby Ballroom at the Hollywood & Highland in Los Angeles, California. Featuring: Renée Zellweger Where: Los Angeles, California, United States When: 27 Jan 2020 Credit: Adriana M. Barraza/WENN This is very polished and exactly like lots of other things she's worn. (So... not wasteful, maybe?) ## Kathy Bates ![](https://static.gofugyourself.com/uploads/2020/01/shutterstock_editorial_10540646bw-1580175972.jpg) Mandatory Credit: Photo by Rob Latour/Shutterstock (10540646bw) Kathy Bates 92nd Academy Awards Nominees Luncheon, Los Angeles, USA - 27 Jan 2020 "I wanted to wear a scarf that reminds me of that one rug the Queen hates. SO I DID." ## Leo ![](https://static.gofugyourself.com/uploads/2020/01/shutterstock_editorial_10540646ce-1580175979.jpg) Mandatory Credit: Photo by Rob Latour/Shutterstock (10540646ce) Leonardo DiCaprio 92nd Academy Awards Nominees Luncheon, Los Angeles, USA - 27 Jan 2020 "Listen, if Kathy Bates can leave her sunglasses on, so can I." ## Taika Waititi ![](https://static.gofugyourself.com/uploads/2020/01/shutterstock_editorial_10540646as-1580175938.jpg) Mandatory Credit: Photo by Rob Latour/Shutterstock (10540646as) Taika Waititi 92nd Academy Awards Nominees Luncheon, Los Angeles, USA - 27 Jan 2020 "HELLO EVERYONE? This is for the OSCARS. Where are the OSCAR NOMINEES and why are you in shades?" ## Bong Joon-ho ![](https://static.gofugyourself.com/uploads/2020/01/shutterstock_editorial_10540648bn-1580175996.jpg) Mandatory Credit: Photo by Matt Baron/Shutterstock (10540648bn) Bong Joon-ho 92nd Academy Awards Nominees Luncheon, Los Angeles, USA - 27 Jan 2020 "I DARE YOU not to vote for *Parasite*." ## Noam Baumbach ![](https://static.gofugyourself.com/uploads/2020/01/shutterstock_editorial_10540648br-1580176004.jpg) Mandatory Credit: Photo by Matt Baron/Shutterstock (10540648br) Noah Baumbach 92nd Academy Awards Nominees Luncheon, Los Angeles, USA - 27 Jan 2020 I feel like Ray Romano would play Noah in the movie of... whatever is happening in his life that is movie-worthy. ## Brad Pitt ![](https://static.gofugyourself.com/uploads/2020/01/shutterstock_editorial_10540648ft-1580176012.jpg) Mandatory Credit: Photo by Matt Baron/Shutterstock (10540648ft) Brad Pitt 92nd Academy Awards Nominees Luncheon, Los Angeles, USA - 27 Jan 2020 "Jen isn't here. What OTHER rumor can I start? Is Charlize free later?" ## Quentin Tarantino ![](https://static.gofugyourself.com/uploads/2020/01/shutterstock_editorial_10540646be-1580175955.jpg) Mandatory Credit: Photo by Rob Latour/Shutterstock (10540646be) Quentin Tarantino 92nd Academy Awards Nominees Luncheon, Los Angeles, USA - 27 Jan 2020 "I WAS TOLD THERE'D BE BOWLING."
