Well. Meryl had a crazy weekend. First, [she had this insane waxwork revealed,](https://go-fug-yourself.ghost.io/is-this-the-worst-thing-thats-ever-happened-to-meryl-streep-02-2017/) and that had to be unpleasant. Then Karl Lagerfeld [announced to everyone that Meryl had been planning to wear a custom Chanel ensemble to the Oscars until someone else offered her more money to wear their design, and Meryl was like OH NO YOU DIDN'T](https://people.com/style/oscars-2017-meryl-streep-karl-lagerfeld-chanel-response/?ref=go-fug-yourself.ghost.io) and Chanel had to backpedal furiously. Meanwhile, at home, I assume Elie Saab is like, "BUT WHAT ABOUT MY DRESS OVER PANTS?" I have to confess, whilst I am not a lover of the Dress Over Pants in general...Meryl looks kinda great in this. I'm impressed.
