Sydney Sweeney in vintage Marc Bouwer

This is fantastic on her and the new hair is CUTE. (I do wonder what Angelina thinks but I cannot imagine she cares in the least.)

Tracee Ellis Ross in Balmain

Balmain really went all-in on this Unsnapped Bodysuit Look this year. I find it amusing but I don't strictly like it as a garment. I will say that of all the people to wear this, she's probably one with the best chance of making it work. (She also absolutely knew going into this that people would have Notes.)

Zoe Lister-Jones in Wiederhoeft

If you're gonna do this, this is the way you do it. (The title of my new hit self-help book.)

Lauren Ash

I like the suit. The bra top might be too much BRA and not enough top for me?

Kim Kardashian in Balenciaga

Honestly, I think she looks FANTASTIC in this. I had this photo in my lightbox for hours before I even realized it was Kim.

Alexandra Daddario

This is very over-the-top and dramatic and actually I LOVE it. I can see this on a very fashion-y bride.

Alessandra Ambrosio

I would also like to see this on a bride at, like, her seventh wedding. This is a compliment!

Rashida Jones in Christian Dior

Ann, you beautiful land mermaid, this feels so relaxed and normal on you.

Rachel Sennott in Balenciaga

She posted "Cinderella-core" on her Instagram and honestly, this dress is very good on her. But ALL the pics on Getty involved her mugging with this shoe. I get that she's a comedian -- I thought she was good in The Idol - but 20 years from now she's going to be annoyed she didn't get a photo on the VF party red carpet without holding one of her shoes in her hands.

Samantha Hanratty

Sure! Fine! Whatever! No one is going to get mad about this...I assume?

Keleigh Sperry

This is pleasantly slinky.

Kesha

This recalls, for me, Courtney Love -- during the Courtney Love Old Hollywood Glam years, not the Courtney Love Grunge period. That's a compliment!

Alba Baptista in Roland Mouret and Chris Evans

Bless Chris Evans for never turning down a suit of an unusual hue.

Kelly Rowland in Nina Ricci

This is highly kooky, arguably too much, and honestly sort of fun? I wish she could dramatically detach those hip cream puffs if they get too annoying during the course of the party.

Vittoria Ceretti

I would have worn a flat sandal here. Related: She has gotten considerably more media attention since she (allegedly) started dating Leo, so I'm glad (sincerely) that deal is working out for her.

Lily Rabe and Hamish Linklater

Please let this glove trend end soon. I do enjoy that this photo looks like two people who are enraged to see you on their doorstep.

Flavor Flav

AS IT SHOULD BE.

Sydney Sweeney Absolutely Won This Collection of Folks Wearing White to the Oscar Parties

In a dress previously worn by Angelina Jolie, no less!
