I get the sense from her Instagram -- and in fact sometimes she's just saying it outright -- that she's dealt with a lot in the last year or so, particularly internally, and when I first saw this dress I thought "Oh, this is her rising up from the ashes of something." Then like an hour later she posted as much on IG. I really hope she puts this photo in a frame in her house. It's really confident.

From the front, it's a little wackballs; it would also have been wackballs if it were floor-length. It's really just an embrace of assertive wackballery. But it's also wild in a way we don't usually see from her. (She picked a UK designer for this, and a lesser-known one, which is thoughtful.) Do I like it? As a costume or an ode to Elton John, or a gown for her wedding to Animal the Muppet, maybe. On its own merits? Not really. But I AM into a Lena Dunham lane-change into Young Edina Monsoon. That's more fun than Hannah Horvath.

Bradley looks... fine. Pretty boring. Is this dark blue and black? My eyes are the WORST. Also, my brain wanted me to type "Bratthew" instead of "Bradley." The hell? Bratthew isn't a name (YET). When I made up "Kimothy" for Kim K, it was because I liked imaginging that Kanye never bothered to figure out what "Kim" was short for, but I have no explanation for this weirdo brain fart.
