She LOVES a dress with a voluminous top piece, to the point where I've correctly picked an outfit for her once and I'm shocked I didn't call this one for her as well. She looks as she always does -- stunning person, average outfit -- but her face is giving me Liv Tyler vibes here that I've never gotten from her before. Is it the angle?

This is all very suave. I think he's excellent as Jamie, and I hope Hollywood gives him more opportunities to use that range. His non-Outlander work doesn't seem to have been *as* prestigious, though he's attached to a Doug Liman movie about Everest that also stars Mark Strong, Juno Temple, and Ewan McGregor, so maybe that'll be a good one.

Sophie looks a little stiff in this dated sheath, almost like someone sent all those jewels for Caitriona and then made her wear them to fulfill a contract. She doesn't seem to have worked at all in the last few years other than Outlander, and I feel a little badly for her about that. She's not great in this part, but I also think she's miscast in it AND they haven't written it well; two of those strikes don't have anything to do with her. Brianna is not particularly likable and I can't tell if there's anything anyone ELSE could have done to fix that.

However, I will carry the flag for Marsali forever, and I think that IS a case where Lauren Lyle gives her a lot of verve. I do not love this dress, though. It feels like someone took a photo of the inside of an old jewelry box. But, one that someone had already robbed.

From the trailer, it sounds like Fergus is going to go through it this season. I'm glad they'll use Cesar more. He looks... fine. Everything is fine! At least the suit fits.

Lizzy, you punk-inflected sasspot. I honestly didn't recognize her until I looked up the name. This dress is not good, but this is such a fascinating example of when someone dresses the POLAR OPPOSITE of their character, to remind people that they are NOT that character and do not have to be forever.

Oh, Dogface. Are you wearing mustard socks? (Also, just a note that I am not calling Richard Rankin a dogface. That's from the show. Roger's captors called him that.)

He's Old Ian on the show, and I ALSO had to look THAT up because I didn't put it together. I do love Old Ian. I don't think he's on this season, though. I wish he and Jenny would come back and hang out with Young Ian (who, by the way is on the West End right now and thus could not attend this). Bring the whole fam! Anyway. Steven's Old Ian ponytail kind of de-hots him; he's quite smoldering here.

Mark plays Tom Christie, a former inmate of Jamie's at Ardsmuir who comes to Fraser's Ridge with his son and niece, and I BELIEVE becomes Important To The Plot, possibly in a negative way.

Alex plays his son, and I'm into his flashy jacket here.

And Jessica plays the niece. I feel like she is wearing shoes many of us owned 22 years ago.

Tallia! Where is the tartan catsuit we all are CERTAIN you have kicking around your spandex parlor?!?
