I always get bummed out when shows romanticize death. Here, it's like... Claire is talking about how peaceful it feels, and she looks totally gorgeous as she gets dragged down into the murderous deep. Let's not make drowning look BEAUTIFUL, okay?

Let us say a farewell for now to Marsali, whom I did not hate as much as I feared. Marsali, I am so glad you and Fergus got to have sex in the middle of all this, and I'm just glad Father Fogden doesn't live in a time of hidden cameras or else I think he would have filmed you.

And fare thee well, Young Ian. Enjoy your adventures while you can, because if you ever make it back to Scotland your mother is never letting you out of the house.

"Oh Mr. Fraser, I've got you now, there is no way in the world you can possibly--"

"OH GOODDAY SAD OFFICER FETUS, DID YOU JUST SMUGLY LAY OUT AN ENTIRE PLAN THAT SEEMED AWFULLY FOOLPROOF?"

"... Yes. Yes I did. I feel small. I should know better."

"That was fun. YOU MAKE ME FEEL ALIVE AGAIN."

"One last smolder, John. For you."

"Should we act on it for a second, just real quick...? No? Okay but you know I had to ask."

"Girl, you high?"

"PROPHECY SAPPHIRE GIBBERISH STUFF!!!!"

"A SCOT will rise again. IT HAS BEEN SEEN."

"Fuck the what?"

"I can't think of how to make this clearer."

This is the overhead shot of the dance scene. It's... you know.

This shot is hilarious. They're looking off to the side and there's lowkey half a Croc jaw hanging out on the right side of the frame.

"Does this bring out my cheekbones? Be honest."

I hope there's a deleted D plot where it's revealed that they all replaced Geillis's REGULAR goat's blood with chicken blood to see if she'd notice.

"KILLING YOUR DAUGHTER IS GOD'S WILL, CLAIRE, IT CANNOT BE STOPPED."

"Oh shit. You stopped it."

"Uncle Jamie, she made me... DO THINGS. WONDERFUL THINGS but obviously I hated them."

Aw. This is how I would like to be comforted also.

"We spent a LOT of money on aerials, didn't we, boss?"

HELLO.

Outlander needs to remember to come back to the core romance more often. It doesn't always have to be sex, but it does need to be fun.

The shipwreck scene was quite well done, I thought. The storm was rendered very effectively and I felt the strain and danger.

Jamie swims from afar to rescue Claire, and thoughtfully takes the time to plant one on her. Even if there's an argument that he was breathing into her.... HOW DID HE HAVE ENOUGH BREATH LEFT TO SHARE.

This is why I do NOT go on cruises.

In which Jamie and Claire prove definitiively that if they can survive on a mast, BOTH KATE AND LEO COULD HAVE FIT ON THE DOOR.

Waking up on a beach, not really sure what happened, with a dude petting your hair... this show really IS like Spring Break sometimes.

"Oh, hey, we're the Olivers. I have no idea how far away we live, since there are no visible homes nearby, and we don't appear to have a vehicle, and you guys don't seem that interested in our help so ... maybe we just won't bring you back for dinner? Bye."

"We do not need to eat anything but each others' faces."

AND WE ARE OUT. See you next year in Georgia.
