What can you do? I guess some people were plotzing about it but I don't think it was a problem. It's clearly made of coats. I hope she stuck some in her secret pockets, or else she's going to have to keep it going with shoe polish. Also I love that coat, and she poured a LOT of emotion into this scene that she did not necessarily get in return from her scene partner. In the moment he just settles into it, and into his admiration of her, in the most well-worn way. I don't know where they shot it, or if they used a soundstage. Claire has just seen Jamie's shop sign, and is letting herself believe he's a moment away. I thought this facial expression was a marvel to behold.
