I think Brianna here is just hanging out in the dining room, sketching. Did Jocasta just have all those art supplies lying around? Maybe they went to town and bought some, wherever that is, and also AS USUAL I have NO IDEA how long Bree has even been there.

This IS a terrifying drawing. No wonder Lizzy thinks that Brianna has lost her mind.

Jamie spends the whole episode looking aggrieved, and as if his bangs simply have not cooperated with his needs today

Claire, for her part, spends the whole time looking snippy.

And then Ian. He does a lot of Ian-ing. He is the best goober.

HOW DARE YOU, ARTISTS. Murtagh is MUCH more dashing than this. (Also I guess this means he's given up his smithing business.)

"Oh, go on, you, I can't stay angry when you peck me like that."

Brianna's bump has grown enough that she can splay out in front of the fire and pout with it.

Phaedre IS gorgeous, it's true.

Murtagh, old pal, I'm always afraid that each time I see you will be my last.

And here is dear Billy Boyd, playing Bree's ill-fated and bumbling suitor. He's good at it -- harmless, bad at flirting without realizing it, and so obviously in over his head.

Props to Jocasta for bringing out a big necklace. I can't tell if Bree's dress doesn't fit on PURPOSE -- like if Jocasta ran out of time, or was trying to heave out her great-niece's bosom for maximum bait -- or if it's just... off. I cannot IMAGINE the Outlander costume deparment does anything by accident, so I'm going with the former explanations, possibly in tandem.

Lt. Wolff is DIVINELY snarky in his side-eyeing of other people's wooing.

IT IS SNACKTIME. GET SOME, LORD JOHN. It's about TIME. But I have a question: Wouldn't Lord John have his own room? Why does he need to bang this guy in the middle of the linen room?

"HELLO, ASSHAT."

"It's Ass BONNET to you."

I have to give Brianna credit for super taste in nightwear.

But the fake belly they're giving her looks like she's stuffed a water balloon into her underwear.

"Hi John if you don't marry me I will tell everyone you love men okay not everyone just Jamie okay not even Jamie I don't know what I'm doing anymore but I'm pretty sure you're in love with my father okay thanks for hearing me out."

Enraged John is ALSO a snack. A SNACK I TELL YOU.

A DIFFERENT KIND OF SNACK.

I was going to ding Bree for this, but then I remembered that back in her time nobody yet knew that alcohol and babies don't mix. I do appreciate her plaid, however.

Can we discuss how enormous this thing looks, for two people camping on the road to New York? Are they the Weasleys? Do they have a tent that looks tiny but turns palatial once you walk inside?

I mean, Jamie IS a redhead. From the right island. WHAT IF HE IS AN EARLY WEASLEY?

Roger's new family is not being very nice to him.

I mean, we stole their country; they have a point.
