Totlander

LOOK AT BABY JAMIE. Well, not a baby, except comparatively speaking, but wee at least. WEE JAMIE! This is good casting. Where was this lad when they were casting little Willie, and we were all supposed to think he looked a lot like Jamie?

MURTAGHLANDER

Younger Murtagh is a snack. Why didn't I notice this as much when I actually watched the Younger Murtagh seasons? I mean, I LOVED HIM, but I didn't truly see him. Maybe that means my feelings are pure because they were based on his soul.

Shavelander

Please enjoy Jamie not slicing up Roger for dinner. Or, don't, as you may have wished he'd been careless with the blade.

Specslander

The skeptical looks Jamie shoots at Roger are truly divine. Especially in his Whoops We Need Sam To Look Older Let's Stick Glasses On Him specs.

Craftsmanlander

For as quickly as they've gotten up this house, the woodwork inside of it is fantastic. Can I get a referral?

Clothlander

Here is Brianna's wedding gown. See? It IS pretty, and yet it IS also a tablecloth.

Smuglander

She spends the entire first 15 minutes of the episodes smiling in this self-satisfied way. I'm hard on Sophie, and as I've noted before, I actually think she's pretty good with transitioning into shock and anger and such, but the sweeter subtler moments are all very flat with her and I think that's one reason so many of her scenes don't land or feel one-sided. She seems quietly bored in her tone.

Lawnlander

What a hideous view.

Starlander

Here is a shot of the house, but more importantly, please look at Fergus's and Marsali's child -- not the baby she's holding, which is Brianna's, but the boy who is rolling around in Fergus's lap. This is amazing. I don't know if they directed this child to be wriggly or if the long shoot day was just BORING and they decided it was accurate, but it's so great.

EMMYLANDER

I MEAN. Give this child all the awards for realism.

Flashbacklander

In case you forgot how they handled Claire's boobs on her wedding day.

Coiflander

Also, Jamie had a perm.

Lovelander

I say this a lot, but Sam Heughan is tremendous at looking at Caitriona Balfe like she is the only woman in the world. I do not believe the conspiracy theories that they're secretly together -- and obviously do not endorse harassing their real life partners about any of it -- but when you see them together, you get why people want so badly for it to be true.

Browlander

And here is Attractive Martin of the Brows, delivering the "Peter Piper" tongue twister with perfect zeal. He seems too modern for this time. He has Modern Face. I HIGHLY doubt he is a secret Traveler, but it would explain a lot.

CHEEKSLANDER

LOOK AT THIS DELICIOUS BABY, who was tapping on Sophie Skelton's lap in apparent time with the wedding band. That's good editing. AND GOOD BABYING.

Strumlander

Roger could have been one of Brave Sir Robin's minstrels.

Hormoneslander

Did you need to see Jamie cuddling a baby today? You did.

Banglander

And obviously you needed to see him and Claire getting it on.

Bonklander

Did you need to see Roger and Brianna? Less certain, but they worked hard for these artfully arranged shots of nooky, so here.

Yurtlander

Here is Murtagh's sex yurt (Jocasta is staying in a tent elsewhere). These two might be my favorite couple. I love a late-in-love love affair with problematic obstacles and the fruition of potentially decades of unfulfilled mutual passion. I also love Murtagh.

Curlslander

This poor kid has inherited whomever used to style Jamie's bangs.

Hornylander

As the boy chats to Lizzie, she asks him what kinds of things he hunts, and he reels off a neverending list of animals; with each one he mentions, she gets hornier and hornier, until she shoots out of her seat. It's very amusing. Nobody show her Christopher Guest naming all the nuts in Best In Show, please.

Brollylander

Ah, yes, early Glamping.

Kiltlander

HELLO SOLDIER.

Crosslander

The prop cross is fake-aflame, and it shows.

Thankslander

Nice of you to come to the party, Martin. We'll soon see how many episodes are actually in your contract.

Farewelllander

Murtagh and Jamie's goodbye is silent. I hated it, by which I mean it was great and it really got me. THEIR love story is honestly truly compelling to me as well, and saving him was a wonderful decision on the show's part because it gives you one more way in which to tug at Jamie's heartstrings -- and honestly, male friendships, and like Jamie's with John, where they know each other deeply and can be forthright and emotional, are nice to see depicted on camera.

Soblander

ME TOO, Jamie. Me too.
