One thing Caitriona and Sam are REALLY good at is their body language. They have a way of touching each other idly, but also like two people who can't NOT be intertwined, during all their banter. It's amazing how the little things give life to their bond; it all feels so natural.

Tryon is SO pleased with himself, offering Jamie the coat. The one thing Outlander does not underline and circle and highlight is how aware Tryon is of this being mental torture for Jamie, and I kind of love that. The actor colors in the performance and we get to decide the rest.

Everything in Sam Heughan's face that CAN throb DOES throb in this moment. He's excellent. I am not certain how easy it'll be for me to watch him in other things -- so far I haven't -- after he's been Jamie. He inhabits it very well.
