This dress is no great shakes, but she looks beautiful. The color is smashing on her. That carries it pretty far. When I wish for a white dress to be almost any color at all, this is what I mean; imagine this in cream and tell me it isn't dismal. The red wakes up a very dull design.

This casting really didn't work for a while. She got better, but also, Brianna as written was a thankless task for anyone. I appreciate her bringing Sofia Carson levels of dramatic flair to this party.

She looks gorgeous; that's super with her coloring. If you haven't kept up, her character is a Quaker who fell in love with IAN!!! after he came back from living as/with the Mohawk, and they got married. IAN!!! did so well for himself.

He plays the kid Jamie had when he and Claire were separated, and Jamie was blackmailed into taking the virginity of a woman named Geneva before she got into a terrible marriage. (He was raised by my beloved Lord John.) He doesn't really look like Sam Heughan's potential child here, but none of the other actors ever did either, so.
