It's a great time to be a fan of women's basketball. The league is still relatively small, so it won't be hard to follow your favorite players from college -- plus [there's a new team in California, the Golden State Valkyries](https://valkyries.wnba.com/news/valkyries-unveil-2025-jerseys-20241204?ref=go-fug-yourself.ghost.io). The Washington Mystics had the third, fourth, and sixth picks, all of whom I can't WAIT to see play together. And we probably *will*. Lots of these women will see the court, and soon, and not *just* because we're on the doorstep of the season starting. I hope they keep harnessing that interest in the women's game, and that the W explodes. I saw Caitlin Clark play last year against the LA Sparks, and the entire building -- Sparks fans included -- lost its collective mind when she sank a long-range three. And it was packed. Go to a game, if you can! Great vibes, cheaper tickets, and outstanding ball.
