This is GREAT. So much attention is paid to what people wear on the biggest stages, but I often wonder which outfits are the ones the celebs remember, and if they harbor affection for some of the ones most people don't remember. This is super and I hope she holds it dear.

Gorgeous, and brilliantly fit.

This is one of my very favorite things Amy Adams has ever worn. Big dots! Small dots! Great shoulders!

Reese is one of the masters of the cocktail dress.

Ava is always fantastic. She's a great example of someone who tends to stick to the same silhouettes -- at least, so my memory tells me -- and yet the colors provide enough variety, and the fit is good enough, that I always feel happy and satisfied.

I love it. I LOVE IT, AVA. WEAR IT AGAIN.

I love this pattern, and the unexpected purse choice. Her hair volumizer was turned up to 12 that day, apparently.

Okay, I lied, they're not all from 2014 and 2015. Apparently I grabbed this one of Jennifer Lawrence from Olden Times, back in the "Winter's Bone" era. She was a baby celebrity -- no one had really heard of her -- and when you consider that, this is pretty damn good. I would have lost the belt, though.,

Emily was promoting Salmon Fishing In The Yemen, which is supposed to be a great movie, but could not have picked a title that made me LESS psyched to ever try it out. I do not like salmon. I do not like fishing. I have no beef with Yemen but two strikes was enough. But the dress, the shoes, and the lipstick are aces.

This feels like something a person used to prove an unnecessary point: that, yes, technically you CAN take a blouse and a skirt and turn them into a dress.

I often forget these two dated. She was on his arm for the awards run of The Descendants. She looks unimpeachable here and I bet she has some GREAT stories that she will never, ever be able to tell because there is an iron-clad eternal NDA.

This is very, very pretty. If it isn't lined, it's one of the rare instances where that succeeds.

And now we're teetering. I like so much of the IDEA of this Sandy B dress, but the dinky little extra chest panel and the way it doesn't REALLY play nicely with the sleeves... that could be better, and then of course it needs a fresher shoe.

Marisa is in her jammies, but clearly borrowed Melissa McCarthy's volumizer.

This wants so badly to be cute. I think it even wants to be darling. But it's just so... half-baked. And she ALSO needs to go shoe shopping.

X marks a spot. Except it's an X of DOOM. What a mess. It also doesn't feel very Lhuillier to me.

I had to send you on your way with some Charo attitude. Serve it on the rest of this Tuesday, IF YOU DARE.
