Gwen Stefani wearing pants that look like she's taking a Learning Annex class on recycling old flannels? Not a shock. It doesn't mean I UNDERSTAND it, but let's be charitable and assume it's practicality at work: If she gets hot on stage, she can free her thighs. Too chilly? Zip 'em right back up. She is absolutely dressed like the court jester at the Court of Dame Vivienne Westwood, and I feel like she's starting to look like Ariana Grande for some reason, but I've spent almost 30 years now furrowing my brow at what Gwen Stefani is wearing and I think I'm immune now. Prove me wrong, Gwen, I DARE YOU.

At first I thought these were fully shredded pants, but happily she at least has SOME connective threads there to keep them from thwapping around willy-nilly. But it still looks like HER Learning Annex class was in Hotpants Redesign with a minor in L'eggs Appreciation and she passed with a low C.
