That fabric is GORGEOUS, and weirdly, the pants -- though short -- are better to me than the shirt whose shoulder seams are flirting with her triceps.

She's on The Bold Type, the show developed by Joanna Coles about her tenure at Cosmo. It's actually a pretty good hour of TV. The Joanna Coles proxy is extravagantly understanding and rational and groovyl, in ways that remind you Joanna Coles is behind the show, but what I like is that the female friendships are at the core of it and sometimes the boyfriends don't even factor. Katie's character, for example, hooked up with a dude she seemed to be about to date, and I don't think we've seen him in two episodes, and it doesn't bother me because he's not the most important relationship in her life; her girlfriends are. It's nice. But I guess she's going to leave the show to be the concierge of the Emerald City.

I am quite hypnotized by her face. Those eyes are amazing. And I have to say, I don't hate the outfit the way I thought I would; ditch the platform hooves, and close the blazer over no bra or keep it and add a real shirt, and I'd be down.
