I feel like the hot pants and the top with a pony tail screams Selena Gomez. Maybe not this EXACT one, as I've not seen her in yellow particularly...

... but she'd definitely wear girly pink.

This is basically one of my worst red-carpet nightmares. You could MAYBE bring the one on the right down to cocktail-length and it wouldn't look crazy, but the one on the left will look like maternity cotton-candy no matter what you do. Anyone want a pregnancy rumor? Call Dior immediately.

This... is also sort of crazy. I keep coming back to Emma Stone, not necessarily because I think she would do this -- even Emma and her adventurous spirit probably understand that those shorts are wack -- but because she is one of the few actresses who COULD try this and have people debate it on its merits as opposed to jumping straight to, "She lost her mind down an acid wormhole." But if you closed that sucker up so it doesn't need the shorts, you could see... maybe a Rashida Jones, a Wiig if she weren't so addicted to whites, or maybe even an Olivia Wilde. Someone would probably belt it, also.

It is so thoughtful of this dress to come attached to its own understudy, just in case there's a terrible Bic-exploding accident. (Having said that, I love this color and want someone to wear the original, without its conjoined twin.)

This looks like surgery to me.

That is a lot of cellophane. What is IN this gift basket, anyway? Easter isn't that close.

I feel like some jackhole will wear this to Coachella, because it's teeny-tiny, it's strapless, and yet it's incredibly expensive and therefore an INSANE THING TO WEAR to an outdoor music festival. Which is precisely why someone will probably do it. Longer and lined? Totally cute.

This is pretty, too. I wonder if I will like it out in the real world, or if I will be confused by its poncho aura. It probably depends who puts it on -- if Miley Cyrus pops up in it, I will be so surprised, I will probably give her an A-plus. It also seems like something that a Camilla Belle would wear, thus giving us a perfect opportunity to be like, "Wait, so WHY does she have her own cotton commercial again?!?" It will go thusly (spoiler): WHY DOES SHE HAVE HER OWN COTTON COMMERCIAL?

This is cool, too. It's kind of Kate Hudson-y, although she seems to prefer floor-length. I could even see Gwynnie in a long version. It might not be form-fitting enough for either of them though. Diane Kruger, perhaps? It clearly needs somebody who isn't worried that you will think they are pregnant, but who also isn't insanely body-conscious to the point of only liking tight things.

This feels like Valentine's day. And possibly not in a great way.

Oooh, I love this with the neon. I wish Jessica Biel would wear it -- at least the yellow cuts the white, which is her current obsession, and detaches it from the whole "OMG STOP BEING SO FREAKING BRIDAL WE GET IT" issue.

Sigh. This is lovely. So I'm sure the Emmy Rossums of the world will put it on and wear it for a lovely sunny day out grocery shopping, with flats, and make us all sad that we don't have that kind of erranding wardrobe.

.... When did Avril Lavigne get invited to this party? Is Raf Simons a closet Nickelback fan?

Paging Zooey Deschanel. She'd totally put on that first one, with some (unnecessary) black tights.

I feel like this was conceived on a sunny day by a swimming pool. Just an inkling.

To me, these say, "Dear Meryl Streep: Let us help. See? We can TRY to meet you in the middle."

"P.S. Tell your daughter. We're here for her, too. You all need us."

This is a fair bit of pretty, lost in its shapelessness. Nip, tuck, belt... could be stunning.

That middle dress makes me wish I were a lawyer. A very rich lawyer who only had to work like ten hours a week on really easy cases.

The one on the left reminds me of the time Carrie Brady got acid thrown on her face and had a TERRIBLE TERRIBLE SCAR (read: small and mercifully completely unobstructive of her natural beauty) and was so traumatized about it. Oh, Days of our Lives. Please keep it together long enough to live forever. That's all I ask. Soaps cannot go extinct.

Zzzz. I mean, not really. They're fine. But zzzzz.

This is totally baiting SWINTON. But her rational business "I'm flying to Paris for a meeting" side, not her resplendent "I landed here from Planet Swintonia because we ran out of hallucinogens" side.

LBDs: one with a navy streak, one with eyes, and one with a tail. Everyone has to have some quiet in the middle of the noise.

Although this show had quite a bit of quiet.

Like, "Wait, did I just walk into a library?" quiet.

The navy is pretty here. Someone will totally wear this. I'd say Keira Knightley, maybe, but does she like to show that much shin? Kirsten Dunst? Wait, same issue. Chastain?

Natalie Portman, perhaps? Michelle Dockery already kind of wore something very similar, yet less striking, to the Emmys.

Oh, my. I both love this, am afraid of it, and think it reminds me of a Swatch my mom owned when I was 10. I have no choice but to wonder if Cate Blanchett will sniff around it, if indeed we ever get her back out at anything major. Come on, Cate. Bait the Academy again. We miss you.

Bonus feet! It's like they have belts.

Those duck-billed ones on the right look especially painful. But also cool. But, again with the painful.

These are screamingly sensible by comparison. Which is nice, and all, but isn't Fashion Week about treachery?
