(IMDb literally credits her as "Ness's wife" but Wikipedia thoughtfully looked up her first name, and she did indeed have one, and it was Catherine.) This was her first major role, and Wikipedia claims Brian de Palma expanded it for her, which was a boon because she was 28 and paying off student loans.
