Tracee Ellis Ross's stylist, Karla Welch, was honored at this event for being "the voice of style," I assume because Karla is very outspoken about her politics in her social media (in a way that I deeply admire). Tracee showing up looking like a literal stylish angel feels right on a night when someone she's very close to is being honored; they truly seem to have such a strong bond. I always like to see talented, outspoken women finding each other. Also, great shoes.
