Usher in Balmain

I'm not going to lie: I want this jacket for myself. (I also thought Usher did a good job on the Prince tribute, which is a tall order, because very few people can do justice to Prince. It also reminded me how much I enjoyed the choreographed dance break in She's All That. I hope SMG makes Freddie do that dance on occasion.)

Misty Copeland

This is a LOT of look on Misty -- I might have argued against the belt and gloves -- but her performance during the show was really great. She is pretty amazing.

She has survived! (A hacky joke, to be sure, but I could not resist. People must say that to her six hundred times a day.)

Tess Holliday in Lirika Matoshi

This is very sweet and VERY Strawberry Shortcake chic. (I think it's charming, though.)

Joe Jonas and Sophie Turner in Louis Vuitton

Yesterday was very surreal in general in the wake of Kobe Bryant's death, and the Grammys were at Staples. You can see in some of the photos, like this one, that people were a little shell-shocked. Having that said that, I think this is a good look on both of them. (I think those are shorts on Sophie.)

These three look slick, and also like they are currently starring in a VERY long-running Vegas revue. (I'm sure a Jonai Residency at Caesar's would make mad money, actually.)

Ben Platt in Balmain

I...don't really understand what is ever happening with Ben Platt's styling. He often looks like the sassy old man you ran into next to the Jell-o salad at the buffet at your parents' golf club. He's only 26! 

Little Big Town

Brown Haired Little Big Town wins this one, I think -- she looks very glam -- and I have to say, I sort of appreciate that they're at the point in their careers where they do not coordinate their ensembles AT ALL. I keep envisioning them each popping out of separate hotel rooms to delight and surprise one another with their looks.

This is really charming on her. It's Chanel, so I'm sure it cost as much as my car, but it LOOKS easy.
