I'm neutral on the shoulder wrap situation, but this dress is essentially VERY VERY good on her -- it feels relaxed and mildly sporty -- which is not something I've thought about Dior's work for her very often. LET'S KEEP IT UP. (I may like this so much because it reminds me of The Dress that Holly Hunter wears in Broadcast News.)

Christian himself said he didn't think this look was for "everybody" and I do not think it is for me, actually. I think it's kind of...muddled, with the (beautiful) white column dress fighting with the tulle aspects. Having said that: She's looked SO COOL all awards season long and from the waist up, she looks fantastic. Let's not go so long without Erika Alexander on the awards circuit, please!

Two things can be true: I own this dress in Christmas wrapping paper form AND she looks great in it.
