Her styling, in this her breakout year for Top Gun, has been sort of flat. And fine. This is EASILY the best thing she's worn so far, and I absolutely LOVE it. Way to step it up.

This is the same family of Prada gowns that yielded Letitia Wright's blotchy one from the Globes, which I liked. I theoretically like this too, but something about the cut isn't sitting that well on her for me. Maybe it's just a teeny bit low, and needs to be either shorter or longer? Or that the volume in the back makes it look shapeless in photos, in a way that it didn't in person?

In the coin flip between "pattern" and "shiny," pattern won. YAY FOR ME. I adore this.

Whoops, that's also sparkly, and maybe more sparkle than pattern. Well. It's pretty, and that slideshow was juicy enough.

I'd have enjoyed this as a kicky minidress, just on its own. It didn't need the tulle train. It just looks like something came unstuck back there.
