The navel window is so weird to me. It's a floaty black dress, but it's also a low-slung skirt with a... random ribbon across her torso, possibly holding things together? She's making this look as good as she can, and despite my snark it's not the worst thing Chanel has given her or anyone else even this YEAR. But it's so... "Give this to the beautiful French lady, she'll make it work."

The lighting here, to my eye, makes it tough to see any detail here other than that it's a two-piece outfit, but...

... this one makes it clear that they are the mutant children of a pair of jeans and two skirts. WHY. It's the threesome no one wanted.

Her casual travel-wear is good, though. I love seeing a celebrity in hardcore arch-support shoes -- to me that says that either her feet already hurt, or she knows they will soon.

Penelope got this suit, with its extreme slit, like a schoolgirl who used her desk scissors for mischief.

This is a clear cousin of the one she wore in Venice, which I liked better. So, you know, nice family, but one of the kids behaves better at holidays.
