## Penelope Cruz in Chanel

The fit on this is tremendous. But I actually think the buttons would have been enough, and that she didn't need the cheap hip wreath. Unless lumbar support was her non-negotiable.

## with Javier Bardem

If the buzz on the movie is legit, we could be seeing rather a lot of them in the next six months. I hope she finds a loophole in that Chanel contract so that she can mix it up.

## Paul Dano

I have no idea what his role is like in this movie, but I hope he gets an Oscar nomination for it JUST because it will chafe Quentin Tarantino so badly.

## Patrick Schwarzenegger in Tom Ford

Patrick is ALSO in this movie -- a pretty good major project with which to chase The White Lotus -- and as you'll see his M.O. is having just a dash of interest in the area of his shirt. Here, it's the stripes...

## P.Schwarz in Tom Ford

... and here, the stripes and the animal-print collar. I actually really like them both on him.

## Paul Dano

Who does he look like here? Other than, I guess, Paul Dano. It's eating away at the back of my mind, unless that's my RFK brain worm.

## Javier Bardem

This may be a BORING backdrop, but it's so much more effective than when people do black. Also, he looks hella relaxed. Apparently Venice agrees with him.

In which Chanel overheard her saying, "I love dead bugs," and didn't realize she was talking to her TRAINER and not her stylist.
