Get ready for my usual gripe: That makeup goes with a totally different outfit, and having this dress be two pieces does absolutely NOTHING special for it.
However, I think she'll make a good Sandy. She's just a bit muggy, she has a nice voice, and she's got the perfect energy. As much as the "Footloose" remake was not great, she was very natural and lovely in it.

The black claws are a bit much, but I have to say, I think the rest fits her nicely. And it's well-chosen because she's your Rizzo. I think that's fun casting for her -- she was such an angel in High School Musical -- to get to play the supposed Bad Girl. It's never lucky when Stockard Channing's facial expressions are the gold standard up to which you must live, because she is hysterical in the movie. But what can a girl do but try? I hope she's able to file off her sweet edges. I guess she WAS in "Spring Breakers" so maybe that was a good test balloon.

Keke plays Marty, which was Dinah Manoff's part in the original film. This outfit would tend to suggest that her take on Marty is, "CW vampire-drama superfan and occasional practitioner of Wicca."

CRJ will be Frenchy. And as much as I am happy she's no longer dressing in Juniors Department rompers, this demi-Elvira look is a bit harsh and I wish she'd find some middle ground. I guess we'll get to see her in Frenchy's wigs soon enough. It can be like road-testing other hair colors.

Kether here is in "You're The Worst." I couldn't remember which Pink Lady her character Jan is, so I went to the Grease Wiki, and... you just need to read this: "Funny, loud, and awkward member of the Pink Ladies. Loud and pushy around girls, but sweet around boys. She likes to eat, and is the nicest girl of the Pink Ladies, though she could be a bit mean if needed - like glaring at Patty Simcox when she sat in Jan's place. She eats leftovers, and is generally friendly and upbeat." Is "she eats leftovers" supposed to be some kind of "sloppy seconds" reference, or is an actual character point that Jan likes to reheat things she once purchased at a diner? I hope the director of this sat down with Kether and said, "Remember, in every scene, when you're questioning your motivation, it's this: YOU EAT LEFTOVERS."
Now I want her to steal this whole show. GO TAKE IT, KETHER. P.S. I don't love your dress -- it's kind of like a mullet wedding gown dyed black -- but your head looks utterly divine.
