# People's Choice Awards Fug or Fab: Emma Stone

One of my favorite things about this picture is how stoked the girl sitting next to Emma Stone looks:

My other favorite thing is that clutch. Yes, I already own at least three gold clutches WHY DON'T YOU STOP JUDGING ME? But let's talk about the outfit. I saw on Twitter that Emma Stone told the press room that Diane Keaton is one of her style icons and I swear to God, that is just starlet shorthand for, "and that's why I'm wearing pants." Don't get me wrong, I get the *Annie Hall* thing -- the slouchy menswear I-Don't-Give-A-Shit-But-It-Secretly-Took-Me-A-Hour-To-Figure-Out-This -Outfit outfit is appealing, and of course Diane Keaton is awesome in general (and actually, as an ACTRESS, has had a career trajectory that would be good for Emma Stone to emulate) -- but there's more to Diane Keaton: Style Icon than wearing a Gucci pantsuit places. (And that "more" is occasionally a bowler hat.)

All that being said, I want to like this, and I almost do. I like the color. I like the CONCEPT. But the execution....
