She looks slightly sleepy here, for some reason -- I always just assume everyone is sort of annoyed to go to the People's Choice Awards and have to talked into them by their PR, but I don't know why -- but this dress is DREAMY and she looks swell.

And she is a noted nutty dresser, but this Naeem Khan feels like a great bridge between her natural kookiness and being elegant. It's great, and it's great on her. (I also like *Girlfriend's Guide to Divorce*, sort of in spite of myself. She's charming on it, and I love Paul Adelstein always.)

I actually LOVE this dress. I'm not sure if I think that particular neckline works perfectly on anyone but those with the swanniest of necks, but I dig it overall and basically, I think I've got to give this the old thumbs up.

Somewhere in Calabasas, Kim Kardashian rages. How could Katharine McPhee beat her to this?! THERE WILL BE BLOOD. (Actually, I think McPhee is ALMOST pulling this off, or coming as close as anyone can to pulling off what is a very unforgiving idea).
