Stana Katic in Carolina Herrera

She looks slightly sleepy here, for some reason -- I always just assume everyone is sort of annoyed to go to the People's Choice Awards and have to talked into them by their PR, but I don't know why -- but this dress is DREAMY and she looks swell.

Lisa Edelstein in Naeem Khan

And she is a noted nutty dresser, but this Naeem Khan feels like a great bridge between her natural kookiness and being elegant. It's great, and it's great on her. (I also like Girlfriend's Guide to Divorce, sort of in spite of myself. She's charming on it, and I love Paul Adelstein always.)

Hillary Scott in Yigal Azrul

I actually LOVE this dress. I'm not sure if I think that particular neckline works perfectly on anyone but those with the swanniest of necks, but I dig it overall and basically, I think I've got to give this the old thumbs up.

Olivia Munn in Giambattista Valli

I like to think that she walked around just like this, ALL NIGHT.

Katharine McPhee in Balmain

Somewhere in Calabasas, Kim Kardashian rages. How could Katharine McPhee beat her to this?! THERE WILL BE BLOOD. (Actually, I think McPhee is ALMOST pulling this off, or coming as close as anyone can to pulling off what is a very unforgiving idea).

People's Choice Awards Mostly Well Played: Black and White Patterns
It's so hard for me not to recycle my usual Seinfeld black and white cookie joke here, wherein I implore you to look to the cookie. Because cookies are delicious. (Of course, in that particular Seinfeld, said cookie makes Jerry break a decade-long streak of resisting the barf, so...maybe let's just get into this. None of it will make you vomit.)
