Daveed Diggs

Bless this man, the master of happy dressing. Everything about this is perfect and what Zoom dressing should be: a feast for the eyes. Also, we've seen Daveed's home in Architectural Digest and I was GOING to say this didn't seem finished enough to be that place, but it does seem like the same place where he was for the Critics' Choice Awards. Maybe he has an office somewhere?

Gal Gadot

Gal's works for this shot as well, but looks EVEN MORE like a bathrobe when this is all you see of it. (She is DEFINITELY in the same local as she was for the Critics' Choice Awards. Maybe she's just... staying here through awards season and then fleeing? This does not feel like a house.)

Mindy Kaling

Mindy is almost definitely in pajama pants and fluffy furry slippers. I approve. I would also believe this is her house.

Amanda Seyfried

I cannot fathom where this would be. I've decided she's at a restaurant.

Viola Davis

Lots of people look like they rented a backdrop from an enterprising company that understands famous people don't always want to show off their homes.

Julius Tennon

But in this case, maybe her husband Julius had already called dibs on the living room.

Kaley Cuoco

This also does seem like maybe it's her dining room. She looks so cute in that pink.

Riz Ahmed

The makers of ecru paint are really having a moment. The Sound of Metal is the only Oscar film I've seen so far, and it's very good, and Riz is great in it, as is...

Paul Raci

this man, Paul Raci. Jane Levy tweeted something about how his performance is so real and lived-in that you feel like you're sitting at the table with him -- she said it better -- and someone replied to her that he was so good that it made the movie feel like a documentary-fiction hybrid, and I agree with that entire package of sentiments.

Sarah Jessica Parker

SJP, I've decided, is in the employee lounge at her shoe store. She was there ALL DAY working and just didn't have a chance to nip home before the show.

Nicole Kidman

Nicole looks like her hair was heavily done earlier in the day, and she had to try in a mad rush at 5 p.m. to resurrect it with a curling iron and more hairspray.

Regina King

I'm sure a lot of these folks have production company office spaces that they use for these. That's what this feels like to me, even though obviously we can barely see any of it. I'm doorframe-psychic.

Tracee Ellis Ross

I'm going to go hotel room on this one. I also wish we could see the rest of her outfit, because the pattern is pretty, but with TER's fashion history I suspect it might all descend into madness.

Lin-Manuel Miranda

I'm going to go with... this is EITHER someone's guest house, or it's a cheap VRBO.

Steven Yeun

"Quick, honey, I'm live in 30 seconds, throw something in front of that really weird painting your dad gave us last year."

Carey Mulligan

I assume she and Marcus Mumford have a charming country spread in the UK, so let's assume that's where she is. I want to know more about your green door, Carey. Don't tantalize me so.

Anthony Mackie

I have no theories on this one, but his tie is good. He looks suave.

Daniel Kaluuya

And bless this man, he has been here all season -- it's his home, we've established -- and never wavered. Thank you for this consistency, Daniel. I DO think you should start doing subtle weird things, like disappearing the pipes one by one, just to see if anyone notices.

The Producers Guild Awards Was Basically Just a Series of Attractive People in Close-Up

Via Zoom, of course.
