This is like if Calista's gown were an Infinite Dress, and worn over a swimsuit. Having said that, and not to sound like someone's old granny (too late), she has an incredibly cute smile. (I do think she and her glam squad should have leaned in and really done a '60s updo.)

Yes, the texture of this dress is intentional -- it went down the runway like this. I suspect this is much prettier in person but I don't know if it translates in still photos very well.

This is allegedly meant to slightly evoke Carolyn Bessette Kennedy's wedding gown and it is somewhat similarly shaped. I think it sits a little lower on her than it ought to but the color is lovely.
