This dress is rather neither here nor there but the styling is truly failing her here. The hair is not really my jam but you could definitely see it working with something more aggressive and directional. Like you have to lean into that hair. There is no makeup. Barely any jewelry. I don't get what story this look is telling about her at all.

All the photos we had of her were sort of gloomy, in a way she didn't seem in motion. This is very delicate and pretty -- she and Audrey Hepburn are some of the very few who can carry those bangs -- and I think it worked better on TV.

This fabric would wrinkle the instant you do literally anything in it and I'm sure she didn't ride over standing out of the moonroof of their limo. But the dress is beautiful.
