She has such fun style, and she's got loads of personality, and that is a big pink nothing. It's shapeless and it looks heavy, the seams and darting weren't that slick up close, and...

... the back was just... a bonus bag? A built-in Baggu? Her head and shoulders are an A+, and then things sank.

This was so recognizably Narciso that Jessica and I wondered if Julianna already had it in her closet -- they're close, and we saw her in the front row at his shows several times. But Shrimpton Couture posted that her stylist Micaela Erlanger found it there and that it's pure serendipity. (They also said it was 2012, which would make it a cousin of this frock that Claire Danes wore back then; I had guessed it would be from the 2006-2008 era, as a cousin to this from the Spring 2007 show , but that all goes to show that Narciso's aesthetic is pretty strong.) Anyway, I want to say that I like it. But it just sits SO low on her for there not to be any necklace involved. I think it struck me less with Claire's because her hair was down? So I guess it needed a necklace OR Neck Business, Which Can Include Hair.

Don't hate me, but I don't like this. She won the lifetime achievement prize, and I get wanting to look stately, but honestly I think headbands need to be very carefully deployed and this one looks cheesy on her. I also just don't love the detail on her dress. The whole thing is half-baked. EDITED: I had a whole thing here about being glad it wasn't D&G, because I had seen it credited as Prada. Apparently that was premature and it IS D&G and BOO. We have a lot to discuss at Drinks With Broads, Helen.

She must have really cracked some skulls over there a few years ago, because she's gotten some GOOD stuff lately. The gloves are a little wackadoo but we can live with it. Because they are not worse than this.

This is fine! It's a little Bridesmaid Prom, but at least it's upbeat and understandable and the correct size, three things that do not often characterize Vera's recent work.

I did not recognize her at first as the proprietor of Ted Lasso's local pub. She looks great, although I just realized that I don't know if the three superfans were there?!? I HOPE they were and I just missed them.

And here's Dr. Sharon, looking glamorous and gorgeous as hell...

... and I think she's FEELING IT, as well she should. Her friend-chemistry with Jason Sudeikis is great, and as much as he'd be lucky to get with Dr. Sharon, I'm glad the show avoided that path for now because it's important to see healthy and non-sexually charged male-female friendships on-screen so that people realize it CAN be done, contrary to the beliefs of one Harry Burns. Having said that... I mean, if Ted were to be so lucky, GOOD FOR HIM.
