This sincerely makes me laugh. It's a little bit hideous, a little bit pretty, and a lot hilarious. She looks like someone threw a cloth over her to try and hide something.

I am like 95 percent sold on this. It's gorgeous. I just want to hoik it and give the top the same dark backing that the bottom has. I'd settle for the hoik, though.

Actually, maybe the whole thing is consistently backed and it's just that the skirt has more fabric -- naturally -- so it looks darker? I don't know. I DO adore this, though. If it fit her chest better I'd be swooning for sure. As it is, I'm close.

Hailee and Jeff

How sweet is this? There are a bunch of photos of her running into Jeff Bridges -- her True Grit co-star, which was of course her Oscar nod -- and they both seem absolutely thrilled to see each other. She totally loses her red carpet composure. It's really wonderful.

Tatiana Maslany in Hugo Boss

Jason Wu is also running Boss, so it makes sense that BOTH lines would get a good floral motif. I would put the flowers all over that skirt, though. She doesn't need a leg break. Or, if she does, I'd make the bodice different.

Chrissy Metz

I don't have a designer credit on this yet - has anyone seen one? It is an absolutely gorgeous dress, and I'm so thrilled Chrissy is not having to go down the same road that had Melissa McCarthy wearing leggings to her first couple events. This is proper glamour, and that's absolutely as it shoudl be.

This is so fun, and it was only just now that I realized everything in this slideshow -- except Portman's -- feels like they should be wearing it in May or something. This is pure summer. At least yesterday wasn't as chilly in LA as it has been.

The dress itself here is pretty, but the camisole under it makes the entire enterprise feel like she just wandered out of her bathroom on Days of our Lives and answered the door and STEFANO DIMERA WAS THERE. (RIP, Joe Mascolo, you canny Phoenix you. I still don't totally believe you'll ever really die.)

Robin Tunney and Shiri Appleby (in Lhuillier)

I should have put these two in the Ladyfriends slideshow, but I forgot. And Shiri is also only SLIGHTLY wearing a pattern. I have not, it seems, been using my best judgment.

But, the good news is, they both look great. Those brown shoes on Robin are unexpected, but the black piping makes them work.

I saw her name and was like, "Could she be Mikhail's daughter?" Then I looked at her face and thought, "Yep, don't even need to Google that." She's in Manchester By The Sea and Good Girls Revolt and such, and I feel like she learned some stuff from watching her father's Sex and the City episodes because Carrie Bradshaw would LOVE those shoes.

I can't get past thinking that her buns look like Mouseketeer ears. That, plus the diamond pattern, gives off an unexpected quaint soda shop vibe that charms me. She looks awesome, as usual. And that CLUTCH.
