This photo is not as good as the one on her stylist's Instagram, so I'd recommend clicking over to that to admire how great this is on her.

She loves a pantsuit. I feel that she and Noomi Rapace would enjoy hanging out in each other's closets.

ALERT: Do these appear to be stirrup pants? They do to me. That's two! If three is a trend, then we are perilously close to a resurgence, people. STAY VIGILANT.

This is all fine! I feel like the Yellowjackets teen cast (not teens themselves, but playing teens) is about to be everywhere.

I guess this is maybe a more staid affair, but I like it when Ruth goes with color.

Also, if this is a staid affair, DON'T TELL DAVID. I like it when he busts out ALL OF THE HUES.

John always has a Your Favorite Professor Has Retired vibe, and his wonky bow tie really adds to that here.

Samuel L. did not give off the vibe of a person who was especially pleased that his Oscar was handed out another time, and I don't blame him. HOW much of that show could we have cut out?!? So much.

Liv looked super getting her Oscar. I think cutting Kevin Costner would bought us at least ten minutes for her to talk.

It was today that I realized I thought Elaine May and Elaine Stritch were the same person. I'm sorry, Elaine. You are DIFFERENT funny, talented Elaines, and one of you is still alive and holding an Oscar, and I feel badly. Congratulations. (Apparently she just played Ruth Bader Ginsberg on The Good Fight, which is yet another reason for me to get a VPN working and watch that show.)
