Janel Parrish in Elisabetta Franchi

This is very Soap Opera on a Budget and while this show actually MIGHT be Soap Opera on a Budget, it's not really a look you want to trumpet.

Sasha Pieterse in Jonathan Simkhai

Sasha looks so regretful here, but there's no need: This dress is really cute! (It would also look cute at a more daytime event with a denim jacket, so way to go with your day-to-night frock purchases.)

Sydney Park in The Kooples

You....forgot something. (She did not, however, forget her double-sided tape: I saw a lot of pictures of this outfit in action at the afterparty, and there was NOT A SLIP. I don't think this looks particularly good -- it would work better for me with the button done -- but it was TECHNICALLY well handled.)

Sofia Carson in Elie Saab

Meanwhile, Sofia Carson is like, "Well, I'm not going to Cannes this year, so let's make THIS my Ballgown Event." (She's lovely, though, so I'm glad she's got a day job that will presumably lead to more red carpet appearances.)

Kelly Rutherford

Yes. This feels right. Kelly Rutherford SHOULD be one of The Adults on a guilty-pleasure Freeform teen soap. I feel very comfortable with this.

Hayley Erin in Cinq a Sept

I guess satin really IS back.

Bailee Madison in Jonathan Simkhai

And, of course, gold lamé never left.

It Appears There Is a New Pretty Little Liars Spin-Off

The cast really did it up for the premiere.
