# Royally Played: Prince George

Apparently, today was Prince Curlyhead Backpack's first day of pre-school, and rather than invite the press (which was done for Wills and Harry; look at [how *insane* William's first day of school was)](https://us.hellomagazine.com/royalty/2016010629086/prince-george-first-day-nursery-comparison-prince-william/?ref=go-fug-yourself.ghost.io), Kate just emailed the pics of their morning to everyone after they picked him up:

The look on his face is very "MOOOOOOOOOOOOOOM." I admit to being annoyed that she didn't take one of him standing on the front stoop holding a chalkboard that reads PRESCHOOL on it, while Charlotte sits half-out of frame, chewing on something thoughtfully, and the dog looks confused -- guys, I sincerely love the first day of school on Facebook -- but I'll accept this photo of him pointing at a mural as a substitute.
