The tie-staighten/jacket-button combo is a rare and thrilling twofer in the world of Dudes In Suits Regrooming Themselves (With Sexy Results?) and the most difficult box to check off in Royals Appearances Bingo. (The middle square is Camilla Wears a Wreath on Her Head.)

I am sad that the secret, unseen gown beneath isn't, like, leopard print. ([I do wish it were this, honestly](https://www.gofugyourself.com/well-played-kate-middleton-and-a-royal-maternity-wear-retrospective-06-2013/kates-last-solo-pregnant-appearance?ref=go-fug-yourself.ghost.io). I loved that dress, and it would have been a fun pop under the coat. Maybe Too Whimsical for Church?)

As much as I am not a fan of The Hat, I DO like The Hair like this. I also appreciate the way it echoes the hat.

Her Majesty looks jaunty as ever. It's like she's thinking, "I know you all read [that article about my funeral](https://www.businessinsider.com/what-happens-when-queen-elizabeth-ii-dies-2015-3?ref=go-fug-yourself.ghost.io) over the weekend. Well. GET READY TO WAIT FOREVER."

I quite like this coat on Camilla. I also feel the need, once again, to give Charles major props for VERY ADVANCED Pocket Square/Tie work. He possibly does the best Pocket Square/Tie combos in town.

I can't WAIT for some publication to run this photo as party to a story about how they're all in a giant fight about, like, the whereabouts of some priceless chalice. Camilla is thinking, "oh, man. I might have loaned that thing to Edward. He loses *everything*."

[Royally Played: Wills and Kate (and assorted) at the Commonwealth Day CeremonyKate has four days of events this week, so STRAP IN, ROYALS WATCHERS, and don't say that I, like Taylor Swift, didn't warn you. But let's just start with this one. If Kate's coat looks familiar, it's because she wore it for Trooping the Color last time she was pregnant, AKA that time she cruelly refused to give Harry a high-five. Her hat, on the other hand, is new and it kind of reminds me of what an artistically talented child would do with his scrap paper at the back of a class in which he is SUPPOSED to be learning polynomials but in which he instead decided to try his hand at origami and now I'll never unsee that. (Although, wherever she is \[I assume...somewhere in The Netherlands\], I feel like Queen Maxima is all, "did someone say 'origami'? I AM IN. W-A, hand me my phone, I am texting Kate to find out where she got that hat RIGHT NOW.") And now that I've said that, I assume Kate will also refuse to high-five ME. I deserve it.
