Princess Beatrice and Edoardo Mapelli Mozzi

Princess Beatrice and Edoardo Mapelli Mozzi Wedding
I think this is absolutely lovely and very romantic.

I think this is absolutely lovely and very romantic. The wedding apparently had a "Secret Garden" theme, which I assume is NOT a reference to the book -- although if they hired a sickly young man to wander around the reception, poke at some roses, and then announce himself cured that would also be amazing. (I jest but I love that book and also the musical.)

Phil, Liz, Bea, Edo

Not to mention appropriately distant from Her Maj and Phil, both of whom look spry and kicky right now. (Wisely, no photos with the bride's parents were released.) Certainly, nothing says "The Queen and Bea are cool" like loaning her your dress AND your own wedding tiara. This is also a lovely shot of the Royal Chapel of All Saints at Royal Lodge, which looks charming as hell. (T&C has some interesting history of the chapel.)

I must confess: I LOVE this whole look on Beatrice. It's extremely feminine and retro and romantic. I suspect the puffed sleeves will be divisive but I love them, too. You can also BARELY see her shoes here and they appear to be glittery or metallic, which is obviously also ideal.

She looks beautiful, he looks delighted, she doesn't need a bracelet, Andrew's presumably stuck in a well somewhere (allow me my fantasies), everyone's happy.

This is nice! Per Informative Caption, this is "Princess Beatrice's wedding bouquet in Westminster Abbey in London which, like those of other Royal brides, is traditionally placed on the Tomb of the Unknown Warrior." The bouquet itself is, per the BBC, "trailing jasmine, pale pink and cream sweet peas, royal porcelain ivory spray roses, pink O'Hara garden roses, pink wax flower, baby pink astilbe and, in keeping with royal tradition, sprigs of myrtle."

God bless Toby here, art directing this for Bea. Someone has to be in charge of these things!
